Sean Drayton, 56, born December 23, 1969, entered eternal rest on May 26, 2026, at 9:45 AM after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. He passed peacefully at John Muir Hospital surrounded by family and friends.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Sean lived a life rooted in faith, love, hard work, and compassion. In 2017, he made Pittsburg, California his home, where he continued building a life centered around family, purpose, and adventure.

Sean was a devoted father, a loving husband, and a man whose heart was anchored in caring for those he loved most. He carried himself with strength, kindness, and generosity, always willing to support and encourage others. His family was his greatest blessing, and he treasured every moment spent with his beloved wife, Nadira, and their children, Jared, Niamh, and Cara.

Sean had a deep love for traveling and experiencing the beauty of God's creation through new places, cultures, food, and experiences. From a young age, he traveled abroad and found joy in exploring the world and connecting with people from all walks of life. One place that always held a special place in his heart was Trinidad, the birthplace of both his wife, Nadira, and his mother, Barbara. Sean often spoke about the peace he felt there — surrounded by the warmth of family, the rhythm of the island, and the comfort of the sea. Trinidad was more than a destination to him; it was a place where his spirit felt truly at home.

He especially loved the ocean and felt most at peace being out on the water, where he often found reflection, calm, and closeness to God.

Sean was deeply committed to his work and took immense pride in his career in airline catering, where he served as a Director of Quality. He was respected for his leadership, integrity, and tireless work ethic. Sean believed in giving his all in everything he did and approached his work with dedication, excellence, and purpose. His passion and commitment left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.

Though Sean's passing leaves an immeasurable void, his family finds comfort in knowing that his faith carried him throughout his life and now carries him home into God's eternal embrace, where he will be reunited with beloved family and friends who went before him.

Sean leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Nadira; his children, Jared, Niamh, and Cara; his brother, Lynton, (and sister-in-law, Lisa); his nephew, Antoine; his niece, Amber, (and their mother, Angela); his great-nephew, Andrew; his aunt, Pearl Thomas; and his many cousins, whom he grew up with as siblings. He is also lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law, Nani; sisters-in-law, Rena and Mala; along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives he touched deeply.

Sean was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; his aunt and uncle, Evelyn and Anthony; his father-in-law, Nana; and his brother-in-law, Patch.

Visitation and Silent Rosary will be held at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 5, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 4:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of his life.
