Servillano "Bill" Domaoan, a longtime resident of Pittsburg, California, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, at the age of 73. He courageously battled Stage 4 lung cancer following his diagnosis in 2021.

Bill was born on January 8, 1953, in the Philippines to Alfredo Domaoan and Marcela Esliza Domaoan, both of whom preceded him in death. He was the youngest of seven children. On December 28, 1976, he married the love of his life, Evelyn. Shortly thereafter, they immigrated to the United States and settled in the San Francisco Bay Area, where they built a loving home and raised three children together.

For more than 40 years, Bill dedicated himself to serving the community through his work with the United States Postal Service. He faithfully commuted between Pittsburg and San Francisco throughout his career, demonstrating the same diligence and commitment that characterized every aspect of his life.

Bill was a devoted member and deacon of the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo). In caring for the brethren entrusted to him, he was known for his deep compassion and genuine concern for their well-being. He regularly checked in on others, offering encouragement, guidance, and support whenever it was needed. His generosity knew no bounds; he was always willing to share what he had with those less fortunate, often putting the needs of others before his own.

When members relocated from the Philippines to Antioch, California, where Bill was registered, he made every effort to help them feel welcome and at home. He took pride in introducing them to fellow brethren and ensuring their basic needs were met as they adjusted to a new life. His thoughtfulness extended to remembering birthdays and special occasions, making countless people feel valued and cared for.

Outside of his church duties, Bill found joy in tending his garden, watching action movies, cheering for the San Francisco 49ers, and following MMA and billiards. Among his favorite pleasures was watching the breathtaking sunsets of Hawaii, moments that brought him peace and happiness.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Evelyn; his children, Sharlene Mae Alim, Matthew Domaoan, and Czarina Dawn Cruz; and their families. He is also survived by his three remaining siblings and their families.

Bill will be remembered for his generosity, unwavering faith, and selfless devotion to others. His kindness touched countless lives, and his legacy of love, service, and compassion will continue to live on through all who knew him.

He will remain forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 10:30am at Oak View Memorial Park in Antioch.
