Shannon Rain Driver Hernandez passed away on January 1, 2026. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness, creativity, and generosity touched everyone who knew her. Shannon never said no to those in need and was always there to help, offering her time, support, and love without hesitation.

Shannon is survived by her beloved husband, Raul Hernandez; her cherished children, Jacob Hernandez and Gabby Hernandez; her mother, Gwen Maderos; her father, Don Driver; her sisters, Honee Maderos, Rose Maderos, and Jodi Clybourn; her nephew, Valentino Maderos Rios; her mother- and father-in-law, Eva and Rafael Hernandez; her brothers-in-law, Carlos Hernandez, Rafael Hernandez Jr., and Victor Hernandez; and her sister-in-law, Yolanda Ianson. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family was the center of Shannon's life, and she poured her heart into caring for those she loved.

Shannon had a strong and lasting connection to Pittsburg High School, where both of her children attended. She proudly volunteered with the school's band, track team, and cross-country team, supporting and encouraging student-athletes and continuing her service even after her children graduated.

Shannon loved hosting gatherings at her home, where family and friends were always welcomed with open arms, laughter, and love. Her compassion extended deeply to animals, especially stray cats. She routinely fed them and ensured they were spayed or neutered, quietly making a lasting difference in their lives.

Creativity was one of Shannon's greatest gifts. She was an exceptionally talented cake designer who lovingly created wedding cakes for friends and family. Each cake was a true work of art—beautiful, memorable, and made with care—just like Shannon herself.

Shannon will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and selfless spirit. Her legacy of love, service, and compassion will continue through all who were fortunate enough to know her. She is reunited in heaven with her brother Hector Hernandez, her cousin Kathy Jo Hinton, and many beloved grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be held on  January 17, 2026, at 10:00 am with a service at 11:00 am at the  Pittsburg Funeral Chapel
