Sigrid Clomera, known to friends as "Siggy,"passed away on Feb 5, 2019, at the age of 84 years, in Pittsburg, CA. Her health had declined in the past couple years. She was loved by all who knewher.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, PhillipClomera; her sisters Briggitte and Erika; her children Arnold, Annette and Arthur; Grandchildren Jacob, Rachel, Jason, Jessica andZachary.

Sigrid was born Dec 21, 1934, in East Prussia and was eventually sponsored to come to the US. She spent her life as a military housewife and active as a den mother for the Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of America. She was a devout Catholic, raising her children with church and scouting activities. She was a current member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

Sigrid was an avid philatelist and would correspond with her friends and family to collect stamps. Phillip and Sigrid would sponsor foreign-exchange students as well. She loved the Olympics and watching IceSkating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 10:00am with funeral service at 11:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
