She was born in Manila, PI, resident of Pittsburg, CA since 1968. She worked in the Procurement Department at the US Naval Base in Concord, till she retired. Cora, as she was known, was the widow of the late Chief Petty Officer Hugh Ashby Peddy, Jr. She is survived by loving sister Visitacion Espiritu and brother Vicente Ferrer, sisters-in-law Margaret Peddy Elich and Sylvia Peddy, and adored by her numerous nephews and nieces in California, Nevada, Texas, Michigan and the Philippines. Visitation Feb 23, at 12 noon with a chapel blessing at 2pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Donations may be made to Good Shepherd Church or your local animal shelter.
