Sofia de la O, peacefully passed away on November 14 surrounded by her loving children. Her gentle, soft-spoken spirit will long be remembered by those she touched with her kindness, generosity, and compassion for all walks of life.
Sofia was born in Brentwood, to Crensencio & Maria Marquez. A devoted wife to the late Roberto de la O. She is survived by her children, Gerard, Robert, Mark, and Donna, her sister Annie, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation Monday, December 2, 2013 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Tuesday, December 3, 2013 10:00am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
