Raised in Pittsburg, Tawnya went to Pittsburg High School. She ran cross country for her school making lifelong friends. Tawnya was one of those people you couldn't help but be around.
Tawyna is survived by her husband Larry L. Major, her 3 sons: James, Julian and David Jr., Stringer, her daughter Jesicca Stringer and 11 grandchildren. Tawnya was the person that could bring everyone together; loving her family more than anything. Love you mama.
Funeral service March 27, 2013 at 11:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
