Lupe peacefully passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek at the age of 86. Lupe was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and resided in the Pittsburg/Antioch area for 71 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, gardening & shopping.
Lupe is survived by her daughter Sylvia Narez-Russo, sons David (Diane), Rick and Anthony (Heather) Narez. Sister Mina Garcia, 9 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Lupe was preceded in death by her husband Angel on December 16, 2014.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Ignatius of Antioch. Committal services following at the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery in Stockton.
