A true son of Pittsburg, Ted dedicated his life to the Pittsburg Police department as an officer for 19 years. Thereafter, he taught at and managed the on-campus security at Pittsburg High School. After retirement from the PPD, he would go on to implement and teach Criminal Justice at De La Salle High School for 14 years. He will be remembered for his embellished story-telling, sense of humor, his love of the Temptations and his vast movie collection that included his favorite movie, Seabiscuit. Ted was a true Bay Area sports fan and never missed watching a 49er, Giants or Warrior game. His love of sports led him to create an annual golf tournament, Big Tee's that's still going strong 30 years later. His greatest passion however, was his family and friends.
