Tom Ciaramitaro, passed away on February 1, 2017 at the age of 92. Tonno worked 39 years for Dow Chemical. One of his milestones in his career was helping with the design of the Houston Astrodome. Tonno was an active member of the Y.M.I. Sadoc Council #59 for over 52 years. His lifelong commitment to family and church is known to everyone who knew him.
Tonno is survived by his wife Rose Marie Ciaramitaro, brother Carlo Ciaramitaro, sisters, Eva McDowell, Antoinette Ferrante, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Gertrude in 1995.
His love for God, country and family was upmost important in his life.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 7:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 12:00pm at Most Holy Rosary Church, Antioch. Committal services following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette.
