Thomas V. Russo's Obituary
Thomas passed away after a brave 20-month battle with Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 68. Born and raised in Pittsburg, he attended St. Peter Martyr and Pittsburg High School. He later went on to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He owned several businesses including; Primo Deli, Rice Wine and Liquor and later owned a branch of Farmers Insurance.
Tommy enjoyed playing bocce, cribbage, fishing, golfing, poker nights with his buddies and cheering on the 49ers and Giants. He was especially proud of the close circle of friends who remained by his side for 60+ years.
Tommy is survived by daughters Whitney (Steve), Lindsay (Justin), Elizabeth (Ryan) Allison (Reed). Grandchildren: Vincent, Willow, Jackson, Chloe, Brooklyn. He is also survived by a sister Marilyn (George) and best friend Sal (Vickie). He was proceeded in death by his parents Vince and Nina Russo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday December 6, 2018 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 6:30pm at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
