Obituary

Tony was born, raised and lived his life in Pittsburg, California, a first generation Italian/American, the oldest of six siblings. He attended Pittsburg Senior High School, served in the Army Medical Corps during WW II and met his beloved wife Elaine while stationed near Portland, Oregon. He began work at Dow Chemical Company in 1948 and retired after 40+ years of service as a Procurement Officer in Research Stores and Director/ Director Emeritus for the Dow Credit Union. He is survived by his daughter Linda of Bay Point and her children Mathew, Sarah and Taylor, his son David and wife Myra of Aptos, and their children Nicco & Dante. He is also survived by his brother Michael and sisters Libby and Carmen of Antioch and season tickets to the S.F. Giants and 49ers. He was a generous man of loving and devoted service to his family and community, giving to and caring for the children.Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 11-1:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Graveside services following at 1:30pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Concord. Donations can be made to St. Peter Martyr School.
