Tony passed away on November 25, 2014 of a heart attack. Tony touched many lives with his gentle spirit and positive outlook on life. He was born in Pittsburg and graduated from Mt. Diablo High School in 1952. Tony was a Knight of Columbus and a Catholic. He was a part of the ushers ministry and always responded to anyone in need of help. For years, he supported the religious education programs by being there to greet families and preform traffic control on Saturday mornings. He supported the St. Vincent de Paul program.
Tony was survived by his brother Johnny, numerous nieces, nephews and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Antonio, mother Dorotea, brothers Joe, Frank and Benny, sisters Albina Martinez and loving sister Brigida (Rita) Hurtado. He was loved by all and will be missed.
Friends and Family are invited to attend visitation and rosary on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 6:30pm. Funeral liturgy Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00am both days at Our Lady Queen of the World Church, Bay Point. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
