Tyrone Avery was born July 8, 1952 to Aaron Avery and Joy Coleman in Martinez, Ca. He accepted Christ at any early age. He attended Elementary and High School in Pittsburg, Ca. He was a very ambitious boy growing up. He shined shoes and sold newspapers for extra money. He also loved fishing with his Mom and Dad. After graduating High School, he got a job and bought his first car. Tyrone loved all Sports, he really liked Basketball the La. Lakers was his favorite team.  He also enjoyed cooking and taking long walks. Tyrone moved to Oakland, Ca in 1974 and later resided with his sister Fay Nathaniel in Hercules Ca. Tyrone will be greatly missed, he was adored by his Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Sisters and Brothers.

Tyrone is survived by: Fay Nathaniel and Claudette Brown (sisters) and (Brother) Keith Brown and a host of Nieces, Nephew and cousins.

Tyrone is preceded in death by his Mother Joy Coleman, His sisters Lois Brown and Drusilla Tipton and Nephew Leon Beshears.

Visitation Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 11:00am at Oak View Memorial Park 2500 E. 18th St., Antioch, Ca 94509.
