With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of Vicente C. Arellano, who left us peacefully on May 25, 2025, at the age of 66.

Born in the Philippines on April 30, 1959, Vince lived a life defined by compassion, dedication, and joy. A devoted physical therapist, he spent his career helping others heal and regain strength, always offering his patients not just care, but kindness and encouragement.

Vince was a beloved father to three children—Taryn, Sydnee, and Niko—who were the pride of his life. He was also a cherished grandfather to two grandsons, Aydan and Ollie, whose laughter and energy brought him endless happiness.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life: the camaraderie of a good round of golf, the thrill of a close sports game, the warmth of family gatherings around the BBQ, and the quiet strategy of a game of Mah jong. In recent years, he also discovered a deep love for bocce ball, where his competitive spirit and laughter shone brightly among friends and family.

His legacy is one of love, resilience, and generosity. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his gentle spirit, and the way he made everyone feel like family.

In addition to his children and grandchildren, Vince is also remembered by his former wife, Kazi Fried, who supported him in recent years with great care and compassion as he faced health challenges.

He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured forever by all who knew and loved him.

Please join us in celebrating Vince's life on Friday, June 6, 2025, visitation beginning at 3:00pm with a services at 4:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. A reception will follow at his family home (271 Azores Ct, Bay Point, CA 94565) at 6:30pm, where we'll be enjoying some of his favorite foods—chicken tacos, burritos, and more—in his honor.
