Victor passed away on Monday, 08/03/15 surrounded by family and friends. Born in Tacambaro, Michoacan, México, he came to the United States in 1980. He made his home in Pittsburg where he has lived for the past 35 years. He worked in landscaping and construction and was a member of the Laborer's Union. He enjoyed playing BINGO and watching his favorite soccer team, Cruz Azul, every chance he got. He was also an avid 49'ers fan.
He is survived by his wife Armida and his children Jessica Pérez and Victor Pérez, Jr. from his first wife Angélica Ayala, all from Pittsburg, his brother Arturo Pérez (Angélica) from Antioch, his mother Josefina Torres Ortiz from México and 3 sisters and 2 brothers in México. He was preceded in death by his father Rogelio.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 4:00pm with a vigil at 6:30pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Peter Martyr Church. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
