Obituary

Victor Sanchez was a beloved father, tata, brother, uncle and friend. He passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 61.
Victor was born on October 16, 1964 in Arizona. At a young age, he moved with his family to Pittsburg, California where he spent most of his life. Pittsburg was more than just his hometown—it was a place he loved deeply, where he built lifelong friendships, raised his family, and created countless memories. Victor was a devoted father to his children and a hard working man. He worked throughout Pittsburg Unified School District where he retired after 30 years .
He was a well known guy all around Pittsburg. Everywhere he went, he ran into someone he knew. He was always cracking a joke, telling it like it is or calling someone a caraweenie. He had a love for classic cars and could often be found at the downtown Pittsburg car show having a good time. His passions were his cars and his grandbabies, they were his greatest joy.
In Victors honor his car will be at the last Pittsburg car show (Aug-27) since he didn't get the chance to take it, his family is going to make sure to make it happen for him. God willing, it will be a tribute to the funny, loyal, straight up, hard working man he was as a way to celebrate his life and fullfill something he had always wanted to do.
Victor was also a proud San Francisco 49ers fan. Whether cheering on his team, spending time with family, or catching up with friends around town, he lived life with humor and honesty. He was truly one of a kind.
His family and friends will forever miss his love, his laughter, his jokes, his smile, and his unforgettable personality. Although we all would have wanted more time with him we take comfort in the memories he gave us and the impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him. The time has come where god has called him home to be with his parents. Anyone who knew him knew he wasn't the goodbye type of guy but the "catch you later" or "Ay te Watcho" kind . Victor's spirit and memories will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community he cared for. He will Forever be loved. Forever be missed. And Forever be in our hearts.
