Viola I. Giamona, passed away on September 18, 2022.  She was a loving and caring person who brought love and joy into the lives of many. For 26 years, Viola worked for the Pittsburg Unifed School District and helped special education students strive for success.

Viola was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul Giamona and their 7 children: Joseph Giamona, James Giamona, Melody Johnson, Sherina Ladzenski, Melissa Wingo, Les Giamona and Francene Carrillo.  She also leaves behind her 17 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchildren.  She will truly be missed my many. We are very blessed and thankful to have had the years we had with her.  May she rest in peace.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a prayer service at 6:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be held.
