Virginia Usi Bartolo passed away peacefully at the age of 84 while battling with end-stage dementia. Virginia was born on April 25, 1940, in Makati, Rizal Philippines and moved to California with her family in November 1966. Eventually, becoming a lifelong resident of Pittsburg, California.

Virginia enjoyed her career working for Bank of America for 36 plus years. After many years of loyal service, she retired from Bank of America in November 2004. She was a hard-working mother who made sacrifices for her children & grandchildren. She loved & enjoyed playing Bingo and Mahjong with her family & friends.

Virginia was very active member with the Santo Nino Prayer Group for over 20 years. She touched many lives with her beautiful smile, her generous giving heart and her passion for cooking.

She is preceded in heaven by her father, Federico Bartolo; mother, Maria Usi Bartolo, and brothers, Federico Jr., Jimmy, Ray Bartolo; and son in law Joey Acuna. Her generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her and whose lives she touched deeply!

Virginia is survived by her loving children, Marivic (Fred, Jr.) Arciaga, Gigi Acuna, Ricky Paulino, Amy (Sandy) Masinas, Josie Paulino and daughter-in-law Patti Francisco. She is also survived by her sister Rose, brothers Rudy & Bebet Bartolo. Along with nine of her grandchildren, Joey, Jr., Matthew, Joseph, Gabriel (Vanessa), Jazzlynn, Styles, Jeaneia, Noah, Jayden, one great granddaughter, Sofia & great grandson on the way.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation and Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00am followed by a service at 11:00am lnurnment will be immediately after at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
