Willa Jean Parker Parson, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012. She touched many lives with her gentle spirit and positive outlook on life.Willa was a lifelong resident of Pittsburg and graduated from Pittsburg High School. She enjoyed a 25 year career with Lucky Stores, Inc. After retiring in 1996 she started a new career and founded WW Ministries Inc, aka The Positive Edge Experience, a non profit organization in Pittsburg. Willa is survived by her loving husband, Carl Parsons, devoted son Terrance Williams (Sharon), grandchildren Terrance Jr., Justin, Jessica, and Anthony Williams. She is also survived by her brother Alonzo Parker (Carolyn), sisters, Ethel Beals Thomas, Joanne Parker Henderson, Addie Lee Coston (Sam), one godson Terrance Coleman, two goddaughters Genji Johnson and Yesenia Roman. Friends and family are invited to a funeral service on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
