William Ronald Coray –known by many as "Ronnie", "Dude" or "Billy" – passed away at the age of 81 in his home on Bethel Island, CA, with his wife Nancy by his side.

He was born in Antioch, grew up, and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1962. He worked at The Cannery, Chemical and Pigment, and later built his family legacy through Coray's Chrome and Coray & Sons Chrome Plating.

His passions went beyond his chrome plating and metal finishing. He loved drag boats, Indy car racing, sports, and spending time with family and his dog/best friend, Marshall.

William is preceded in death by his parents, John "Al" Coray and Conchita "Connie" Coray, as well as his brother John Coray and his sister Teresa Coray.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, and his 3 sons: Troy and his wife Lori, Damian, Nickalus and his wife Amanda, stepdaughter Nicole Abbott and family, along with his grandchildren Ashlyn (fiancé' Jarrod), Adrianna (fiancé' Jacob), Danielle, Jacob, Dylan, Alyvia, Andrew, and Blake; great grandchildren Adam and Dominic.

Ron also leaves behind his siblings: Diane (Charles), Patricia (Patrick), and Robert (Cindy), along with 14 nieces and nephews and countless greats.

Celebration of life service to honor the life of William Ronald Coray will be held on December 19, 2025, from 1:00 pm -4:00 pm at the Clubhouse at the Willow's Mobile Home Park, 3635 Willow Rd, Bethel Island.
