Willie was a lifelong Pittsburg resident and retired from US Steel after 37 years. He was all county in football for Pittsburg High School and was also a track star. Willie owned a gym and coached little league sports. He loved his San Francisco Giants and 49ers.
Willie is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Helen, brothers, Ralph, Dan, Dave sisters, Stella, Josie, Maggie, his 3 children Judy Sherry, Willie Herrera Jr., Sally Romero, his grandchildren Anna, Ross, Dean, Deanna, Sean, Teresa, Willie III, Candace and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Theresa Herrera, brother Tony Herrera and sister Delores Delarosa.

Friends and family are invited a chapel liturgy on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 1:00pm at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
