William Anthony King passed away at home unexpectedly on December 25, 2020, due to complications of a long time illness with Syringomyelia.  His diagnosis of Syringomyelia was an unforeseen result of a tragic vehicular accident he was a victim of when he was only eighteen.

William was born on September 26, 1969, to Newton and Aurelia King in Beeville Texas and was a longtime resident of Pittsburg.  Prior to becoming permanently disabled, William worked in the hotel industry as an Audio Visual Technician at the Courtyard Marriott San Francisco Downtown.  He had many talents, and was most notably known for his detailed drawings, his love for comic books, and music, in particular the 80's genre.

He is survived by his mother Aurelia King of Pittsburg, older sisters Sharon King of Hillsborough NC, Carol Dunaway (Curt) of Benicia, older brother Newton King II (Lynette) of American Canyon, Nieces Erika Alorro (Romeo) of Fairfield, Ashley Pinell (Marcelo) of Inglewood, Nephews Nicholas Herrington of Fairfield, Cameron Dunaway of Benicia, and Noah King of American Canyon. Great Nephews Romeo Alorro III of Fairfield, Marcello II and Sebastian Pinell of Inglewood, Great nieces Arielle Alorro of Fairfield, Celine and Camila Pinell of Inglewood. He is preceded in death by his father Newton King Senior.

Services will be held Saturday January 16th, 2021 at Lighthouse Covenant Fellowship Church 1175 Church Street Benicia, California 94510
