William (Bill) Paul Ramirez passed away on Wednesday April 29, 2020 at the age of 65. A resident of Antioch/Pittsburg CA for over 40 years. Bill graduated from Chicago Vocational High School in 1972 and enlisted in the Unites States Marine Corps summer of 1973. He served in the Marine Corps for 8 years and received an honorable discharge in March 1981 from NWS, Concord. After his honorable discharge he went to work as a postman for the United States Postal Service where he remained for 8 years. Bill then moved on to become a heavy machine operator at Georgia Pacific from 1989-2005. Bill retired and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Emma, Philip and Cassie. He loved to go watch Emma play soccer, pick up Cassie and Philip from school and take them to get a bite to eat. Bill was happy at home and didn't desire to venture out much. He collected a vast number of collectables that he seen value in. Bill was a simple man who didn't mind helping out when you needed him.

Bill is survived by his two sons Philip Ramirez of Pittsburg, CA and Rocky Ramirez of Antioch, CA. He is also survived by his 13 brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Luis and Catalina Ramirez and 3 of his 16 siblings. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
