Yvette Michelle Jaramillo passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2026. Her passing leaves great sadness in the hearts of her sons, family, and friends. Throughout her life, she embraced many roles — mother, daughter, grandma, sister, wife, aunt, nina, and friend — and she carried each one with love and devotion.

Yvette was the loving mother of four sons: Miguel (42), Robert (36), Patrick (30), and Charles (29). Her boys were the center of her world, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and the men they became. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, Sia (7) and Callysta (2), whom she adored deeply. She leaves behind her brothers, Rick (61), Troy (60), and Derek (39), as well as many nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, extended family members, and lifelong friends who loved her dearly.

Yvette was full of charisma, sass, strength, and determination. She loved music, dancing, and making people laugh. Her smile was infectious, her laughter warm, and her presence unforgettable. She was selfless, compassionate, and always willing to help others — even when she herself was carrying burdens. She found joy in life's simple moments: spending time with family, watching sports, going out to eat, and creating memories with her sons and granddaughters.

For 30 years, Yvette dedicated her life to serving others through her career at Kaiser as a healthcare worker. During that time, she built many lasting friendships and earned the respect of those around her through her hard work and dedication. Her influence even inspired some of her sons to pursue careers in healthcare themselves. Yvette always wanted the very best for her children and was determined to guide and support them in every way she could. If there was a will, there was a way — and she lived by that mindset. No matter the obstacle, she always found a way to make things happen for the people she loved.

When we think of our mom, Yvette, the first word that comes to mind is love. She was full of love, she gave love freely, and she was loved beyond words in return. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with her parents, Janet Swanson and Frank Escaranio, and her best friend, Yoli Stanley, all of whom she missed dearly after their passing.

Yvette's love, strength, humor, and spirit will forever live on through her family and everyone blessed enough to know her.
